Project management and technical coordination
Bedford Girls’ School appointed Ricardo Sanles to manage the upgrade of its acoustics, audio and stage-lighting systems across the Assembly Hall, Rundle Hall, Dance Studio and Black Box / Drama Studio.
The existing equipment dated largely from the late 1980s and early 1990s, with some units dating back to the 1970s. The brief required coordinated acoustic and system specifications suited to the school’s teaching and performance needs.
Requirements, design and tendering
We established the technical requirements for each space, addressing reverberation, speech intelligibility and audio coverage alongside projection and stage-lighting.
We developed the acoustic and audio design, coordinated the specialist lighting proposal and managed the tender process across all three disciplines. This gave bidders a clear technical brief and the school a consistent basis for comparing proposals.
Our scope described here covers requirements, design, technical coordination and tendering.
